The Three Layers

Spirit Layer

I. The Signal

The Drought is the state of systemic depletion — when the body has been asked to give more than it has received for so long that the well has run dry.

Body Layer

II. The Temple

In the body, the Drought is felt as a bone-deep fatigue, a flatness in the chest, a dullness in the senses, and an inability to feel pleasure or motivation.

Mind Layer

III. The Map

You cannot produce, care-take, or create from an empty cup. The Drought is not a character flaw. It is a resource crisis. The only response is radical replenishment.

Orientation

Upright

Energy flowing outward

The depletion is visible and acknowledged. You are beginning to address the resource crisis.

Reversed

Energy turned inward

The depletion is being denied or pushed through. The body is running on reserves that do not exist.

Journal Prompts

Sit with these. You don't have to answer all of them.

01

What have you been giving that you do not have to give?

02

What would radical replenishment look like for you — not rest as a reward, but rest as a requirement?

03

What are you afraid will happen if you stop?
